Hosting Blessed Carlo Acutis First Class Relic and a Vatican International Exhibition of Eucharistic Miracles
BLESSED CARLO ACUTIS
Northern Light Parish to host, a First-Class Relic of Blessed Carlo Acutis and a Vatican International Exhibition of Eucharistic Miracles, which Blessed Carlo put together from the age of 11 to 15 years old.
Born in London in 1991, Carlo grew up in Milan, Italy. He loved computer games, the internet, and programming but loved God most of all, with the Eucharist at the centre of his life. He created a website dedicated to “Eucharistic Miracles”. He is soon to become the Catholic Church’s first millennial saint (“a saint in sneakers!”).
Carlo (15yo), passed away on October 12, 2006, “I am happy to die because I lived my life without wasting even a minute on anything unpleasing to God.” Pope Francis recognized Carlo’s first miracle in 2020, when a 3-year-old in Brazil was healed of a pancreatic defect after his mother prayed to Carlo. A second miracle in 2022 involved, healing of a 21-year-old girl in Costa Rica after a bicycle accident.
For young people, role models like Blessed Carlo Acutis are important, showing how even a ‘teenager’ can leave a lasting legacy of love, faith, and dedication to God.
